welcome to AGM Talk

AGM Talk is an English coaching business specialising in helping professionals and specialists communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact in real-world and corporate contexts.

It focuses on practical, tailored language support to improve fluency, accuracy, and professional presence in meetings, presentations, and international work environments.

I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with over 10 years of experience, specialising in teaching adults both online and in person. I work directly with individual students and companies, as well as through training agencies, focusing on delivering dynamic, practical classes tailored to each client’s specific needs.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I also have conversational French and basic Italian. I have worked in the UK, Spain, Norway, and Italy, collaborating with high-profile companies and private clients.

My background in recruitment within the cultural and artistic sectors, team-building facilitation, and production for TV and theatre gives me a unique perspective that I bring to my Business English and ESP (English for Specific Purposes) programmes, ensuring they are practical, relevant, and immediately applicable for professionals across a wide range of industries.

Does your English truly reflect who you are and the talent you bring?

I help professionals and organisations use English with confidence, precision and credibility in real-world contexts.

My work addresses a very common challenge: being an expert in your field, but not feeling certain in meetings, and not sounding as professional as you would like to in English.

Through a reality-based approach, I guide you through a personal development process so you can find who you really are and project that identity with authority.

Whether in negotiations, presentations, or sensitive conversations, my goal is for you to be clearly understood and fully respected in any environment.

English programmes designed for vertical transportation professionals who need to communicate with clarity, precision, and confidence in technical and international environments.

I work with specialists in Health & Safety, Management and Leadership to develop the English they actually use in their day-to-day work:

meetings, audits, technical documentation, safety procedures, internal training, and communication with global teams.

Each programme is practical, industry-specific, and fully tailored to the professional’s role and objectives.

Because in safety, precise communication can mean the difference between life and death.

Preparation in English for international interviews and recruitment processes.

I help you prepare in English for interviews, presentations, recruitment processes, and public speaking with greater confidence, clarity, and strategy.

For 8 years, I worked in London as a specialist recruiter, collaborating with museums, galleries, and cultural institutions. I supported hundreds of international candidates in improving their CV's, professional communication, and interview preparation.

That experience allows me to help you not only with the language itself, but also with strategy, personal presentation, and understanding what employers are really looking for in an international context.

In the creative industries, using the right English is essential. Whether you are working on a film set, joining a new production team, speaking to clients or working with high-profile people, the right terminology helps you sound professional and confident. It also helps people trust you and take you seriously.

Being a fine art painter with a background in art and design, textiles for fashion, and a degree in Theatre Design, plus 7 years of freelance experience in TV, theatre & film, including 3 years at the BBC - I understand you are often only as good as your last job.

I offer English programmes for:

• TV and film production professionals
• Artists and designers
• Professionals working in the creative industry

My courses help you learn the English you really need for your work.
